The death penalty has been declared unholy by The Pope of the Catholic Church.
This will as the church stated create a wave of activism which they want spurred on to abolish it all over the place in lawmaking.
It’s of course a lovely thought and what would a church be without something to do.
Without much of a penalty though, what keeps some from doing horrible crimes?
Calling for the reinstatement of torture as punishment might be one way.
Without torture all you have is free housing, free food, free medical care.
