After looking at a photo of 2 men at Gettoknowmefirst.org and their baby, it hit me, the foundation of marriage is basically commitment and raising children. It is not at it's deepest roots about creating children, or just male/female, it is about loving relationships that are a base for raising children, and commitments between two, three, four, five, six, or seven adults. The deepest sense of what marriage is really about is this. No matter what their gender or how many of them are committed, it is about the foundation of commitment to each other and children and younger adults who need stability, a home, love, etc. What's this, I can't see it? http://de.youtube.com/watch?v=eSEH67hILHw I think proposition 8 can be overturned based on the premise that the state constitution should not be rewritten. I also think all protests are unnecessary. I am also concerned that no one in the gay community, especially our elected officials, are amending the sexual constitution that was re-written by our medical establishment forefathers in the 1980's. The wording was improperly changed, adding prohibitions to places that used to have glory holes in certain places as they are erroneously considered a primary transmission route of AIDS, even though there is no evidence that diseases travel through holes. These ridiculous ideas tend to cum from people with glorious holes in their heads as it is well known that diseases are not conditions that can be shipped or received when playing catch or peeking at them. I also am concerned that there are women who are lesbian and say they are gay. I'm sorry, this is unfair for the women to have 2 words and men only have one. |
